Muy buenas,
Claro que gana, gana 2 millones de yens, lo que saldría a unos 2 millones de pesetas.
Claro que compite solo, es el único que quedaba.
Esa prueba la comenzaron muchos (Fijaos que pone al lado de su nombre su número de competidor), pero sólo 2 personas lo han logrado terminar en los 9 años que lleva la competición. Los concursantes son elegidos entre distintos campos. Este, en concreto, es pescador.
Para que os hagais una idea, de las 4 pruebas que tiene el concurso, menos de 200 personas han logrado llegar a la 2ª.
Os pongo un cacho que puse por ahí sobre esta prueba:
Stage One
One hundred participants must first take on Stage One, a test primarily of speed. Balance and Speed are the two key qualities needed to pass this stage, strength coming in at a close third. This stage is designed to weed out those who aren't physically capable of taking on Stages Two, Three, and Four. The exact time limit varies depending on which obstacles have been placed into Stage One at each specific competition. One of the most recognizable obstacles is the Warped Wall, a wall with a rounded incline and very little (if any) straightaway. The competitor must run up the wall and then pull himself over it. This obstacle has knocked out the most competitors who have made it that far. Kazuhiko Akayama, the first Sasuke winner, was defeated twice at the hands of the Warped Wall.
Stage Two
Stage Two consists of a lowered number of participants and grueling obstacles. Fewer than 200 competitors have ever reached Stage Two. Stage Two's obstacles, like Stage One's, alter throughout the competitions, but all hold to the same principle: If you make a single mistake, you fall into the water below. The final obstacle of Stage Two, which never changes, is lifting of three walls which get progressively heavier starting at 40K, then 50K and finally 60K. Stage Two's altering obstacles determine the time limit, so there is no exact number.
Stage Three
Stage Three, unlike the previous two, has no time limit whatsoever. This stage makes very little use of the competitor's legs and forces them to have a strong upper body and a strong grip. Six obstacles are placed throughout the course and are designed to drain the body of its energy and will to proceed. Few competitors pass Stage Three to enter the fourth and final Stage. Constant obstacles in the 3rd stage are the Body Prop, Curtain Cling, and Cliffhanger. The Body Prop demands competitors to hold their bodies horizontally, and move across the mud pit. The Curtain Cling (which comes right after the Body Prop) has competitors have a strong grip on the blue curtain. The Cliffhanger has taken out most 3rd-stage competitors. This obstacle requires exceptional finger strength, as the contestant must navigate the cliff while clinging to it with only their fingertips.
Stage Four
The Fourth Stage is the hardest stage of them all. With a mere thirty seconds on the clock, a forty foot high wall and a thirty foot long rope above it, this stage eliminates virtually all remaining competitors. The Fourth Stage places the participant between two walls, one on either side. Competitors must place one hand and foot on either wall and push themselves up forty feet. At that point, they grab a rope and rope climb the remaining thirty feet to reach the ultimate goal. Only two men have ever accomplished this formidable task: Kazuhiko Akiyama and Makoto Nagano. A 2 million yen cash prize is awarded to the winner.
Tan sólo 2 personas han logrado completarlo. Se hace 2 veces al año y, como el año pasado el tipo este se lo pasó, para el próximo (mañana) van a meter nuevos obstáculos y será más chungo.

Vaya, que le encuentro mucho más mérito que a los de parkour. Éste necesita mucha más fuerza en general, cubre prácticamente todas las áreas de entrenamiento.
